Club Meetings

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at the McCormick Cafe at Noon.

The meeting held on the first Wednesday is our business meeting. The meeting held on the third Wednesday is the program meeting, which features a special topic or speaker.

Click here to RSVP for a meeting, this is important to ensure our meal counts are accurate. Meals cost $10 and are payable to McCormick Cafe. Envelopes are placed on the tables to indicate your name and whether you pay be check or cash.

Installation Dinner

The 2010 installation dinner is the capstone event to the Zonta operational year. This year's dinner will be held on May 19th at 5:30 PM at the Elks Lodge on 934 Lewis Avenue. This event will be in lieu of the program meeting for May.

This year's dinner will include pork tenderloin or chicken, potato or rice, tossed salad, vegetable and ice cream sundaes. Organizers have tried very hard to keep the costs down this year, with the expected meal cost to be around $17-$19.

The social starts at 5:30 PM with a cash bar, with dinner beginning at 6:00 PM. New members are highly encouraged to attend, as a special program is established just for you! Additional agenda items include the installation of the new Zonta Board, revelation of the Zontian of the Year and a history about the club.

This dinner also includes a White Elephant Silent Auction. Bring those slightly used or new items for the silent auction. Proceeds will go towards the travel fund. A book exchange is also at the event, take a book, leave a book for $1.

Area 1 Meeting

Area meetings are well worth the time and adventure. This year, the planning looks fantastic. Your area directors and club hosts go to great lengths to ensrue the relevance, educational quality and fun for these meetings. Two members from the Zonta Club of Billings can attend this meeting. This year's meeting is April 30 - May 1 in Custer, South Dakota. The Southern Black Hills Club is our host.

60th Zonta International Convention

Every two years, Zonta hosts thousands of women from all over the world for the International Convention. The 2010 conference, held June 25-30, is in San Antonio, Texas. The Zonta Club of Billings sends two voting delegates and possibly one alternate to participate in the organization's business and networking activities. Past attendees have not been disappointed, in fact, many come back to Billings feeling energized and proud of the work that Zonta does locally and internationally.
